Smoked Salmon Pâté


Serves 4

200g Scotty Brand Smoked Salmon

100g cream cheese

2 tbsp double cream or crème fraîche

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

2 tbsp chopped chives (capers, horseradish or fennel can be used instead)

Fresh dill to serve

  1. Blitz all the ingredients, except the chives or alternative, in a food processor. Stop when a pâté texture is formed and before the mixture becomes too fluid. 
  2. Taste and season accordingly. If using capers, more lemon juice may need to be added to offset the saltiness. 
  3. Serve with fresh dill on crackers, oatcakes, soda bread, breadsticks, or anything else you fancy!
