1kg Scotty Brand baby potatoes, if using larger potatoes- simply chop them up.
3 minced garlic cloves
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey/maple syrup
1 tsp gochugaru (chilli flakes)
1/2 cup water
2 tsp olive oil
Optional; add 1 tsp cornflour starch to thicken sauce.
Finish with - 1/2 tsp sesame seeds and spring onions.
Pre boil the potatoes for 10 minutes. (They shouldn't be mushy)
In a pan gently fry/braise the potatoes to cook them, keep shaking the pan so the skin browns and cooks. Do this for 15 minutes.
In a bowl mix all the other ingredients well.
Pour the mixture over the potatoes and cook for 10 minutes until the sauce turns thick, add 1 tsp of starch to help thicken if you need to.
Finish with sesame seeds and thinly sliced spring onions.
