500g Scotty Brand Potatoes (peeled and chopped in half)
1 x pack of Scotty Brand Soup Mix (Remove the lentils or barley depending which pack.)
Olive oil
1 x onion
Herbs
500-600g of meat (this recipe uses 180g lamb and 400g of pork sausages)
1 x lamb stock cube (or beef) in 800ml of water
300g leftover gravy (or make some using gravy granules)
Add chopped onion and Scotty Brand Soup Mix to a pot with olive oil and a sprinkle of rosemary. Cook for 10 minutes until slightly softened.
Add uncooked sausages and fry for a further 5 minutes.
Add cooked meat, along with peeled and halved Scotty Brand Potatoes and the lamb stock.
The stock should be able to cover the potatoes as they need to cook in the pot. (Add a little more if they aren’t submerged.)
Cook on a medium heat for 1hr 30 minutes, checking every 30 minutes until veg and potatoes are softened and everything looks like it’s starting to come together.
Stir through leftover gravy (or make some up using gravy granules) and serve with bread, oatcakes or however you like it!
Enjoy!
