Strawberry & Cream Puff Slice

Ingredients

Scotty Brand Strawberries
Block of Puff Pastry
300ml Double Cream
30g Icing Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Extract

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C for fan assisted) gas mark 7.

  2. Roll out pastry& cut into 16 slices.

  3. Place onto baking tray and prick with a fork.

  4. Bake until golden brown (about 15mins) then remove from oven and leave to cool.

  5. Wash and slice Strawberries.

  6. Make Chantilly Cream by adding Cream, Icing Sugar and Vanilla essence into a large bowl. Beat until soft or firm peaks.

  7. If your slices have puffed up a lot you can slice them in half.

  8. Pipe cream onto each slice and lay slices of Strawberry on top.

  9. Top with layer of puff pasty and sprinkle a light dusting of Icing Sugar

  10. Enjoy!
